Short Circuit Analysis
Integral Power uses world’s leading software tools to quantify the magnitude of fault currents throughout your electrical network. We compare the interrupting duties of existing/new electrical equipment on your network to the available prospective fault current and give you actionable recommendations which will allow you to choose new equipment, replace or modify your existing assets in order to comply with all applicable codes and standards.

3D Substation Modelling
Integral Power’s 3D substation modelling helped us engineer innovative solutions to our customer’s long-standing problems. It has condensed weeks into days when it comes to design time. Our 3D designs are more accurate and actionable that convention 2D substation designs out there in the market.
You can now analyse and address environmental impacts, physical forces acting upon the structures, cable sags, electrical clearances and other real-time concerns. With all this additional detail incorporated within the substation model, constructors, vendors and fabricators can now pour foundations, prepare components and build structures to precise specifications, leading to efficient substation construction.
Earthing Design
Earthing system design requires a comprehensive understanding of causes that can influence the performance of an earthing system under fault conditions. While our engineers are experienced in the implementation of IEEE-80 and AS/NZS-2067 compliant earthing design, they are also proficient in the use of some of world’s most capable earthing design software including CDEGS™ and XGSLAB™.
Our Earthing Design report will include:
Load Flow Analysis
With Integral Power’s Load Flow analysis, you can address the deficiencies in your electrical system while identifying the potential to save energy and meeting future needs with your existing assets. Our engineers are proficient in using some of the worlds most advanced power system analysis tools including Etap™ and EasyPower™. Our engineers will give you actionable recommendations which will allow you to choose appropriately rated new equipment, replace or modify your network operations to comply with all applicable codes and standards.
Our Load Flow analysis report you will:
Motor Starting Analysis
With Integral Power’s Motor Starting Analysis we can precisely calculate starting times, speed, torque, system voltage drops, relay interactions in the event of large motors switching on within your electrical system. With overloads clearly highlighted, you can avoid unnecessarily tripping your plant while minimizing downtime. Our engineers will simulate real-time plant conditions, including multiple starting motors, switching contactors, and relay tripping, helping you see the implications that changes have on the system even before you implement them.
Integral Motor Starting analysis report will help you:
Arc Flash Analysis
Arc flash has proved to be a major risk for the electrical industry in Australia and abroad. Integral Power has one of the most experienced team of professionally trained arc flash engineers, who have hands-on experience in implementing NFPA-70E and AS/NZS-4836 based arc flash safety systems. Our engineers are certified users of ETAP™ and EasyPower™ and have a track record of has providing comprehensive arc flash safety solutions including arc flash hazard assessment, determination of arc flash boundaries and determining hazard risk categories.
With our comprehensive Arc Flash Study you will:
Harmonic Analysis
Harmonic studies are performed to determine the effects of non-linear electrical devices (such as furnaces, large variable-speed devices, static VAR compensators and DC rectifiers) on the electrical network. Harmonic studies are typically associated with the installation of Variable speed Drives (VSDs), capacitor/reactor banks and for designing and evaluating the performance and effectiveness of harmonic filter banks.
With our Harmonic Analysis you will help you:
Protection Coordination
At Integral Power, we will determine the settings and ratings for your protective devices such as Protection relays, CBs and Fuses across your power system. These settings and ratings will be determined by our engineers who will plot the Time Current Curves (TCCs) of each device and applying AN/NZS, IEEE and IEC standards to ensure that you get the optimum protection across your electrical network.
